Please plan to attend the town’s Environmental Justice (EJ) meeting regarding the proposed wastewater increase into Camelot Park, scheduled for tonight, Thursday, June 4th from 6:00 – 8:00 in the Great Hall in Town Hall.
As a recap, The state’s MEPA regulations legally mandate that this Environmental Justice meeting be held to guarantee “meaningful involvement” for populations that may bear a disproportionate environmental or public health burden. Because the Camelot Park facility sits directly within a designated Environmental Justice neighborhood, state regulators at the MEPA office will be closely monitoring this process.
For those interested to hear the town’s perspective of this request, please reference this edition of, “This Week in Plymouth” originally aired Mar 2, 2026. Note: While informative, this show neglected to speak to the objections and concerns of the Citizens Advisory Committee who voted against proceeding with the request.
Hope to see you tonight.
